I don’t really. I feel we work in a well-paid industry and there’s a lot you can do without. Your kids will be perfect as long as you give them lots of love, a low stress environment and plenty of books. And if I’m feeling stressed I get a lot of value from Mr Money Mustache.
I feel crippled. It’s hard. It prevents me from being able to take risks.
SD1 it depends where you live and where you work.
Not sure where you are but I recently left NYC and it’s much better now. We were living paycheck to paycheck before, and facing school costs on top of a full time nanny. Plus, I now live near family so helping hands are a big benefit

Definitely. The cost of Daycare and also nanny care since we work so much is more than I’m willing to fully calculate and face. It’s hard. But once they are both in public school we will be rich. Jk we will still be struggling but it will be better. Hang in there
I do. Owning a house has compounded the feeling. I definitely feel trapped in this business and wish I made different career decisions in my 20s.
