Does anyone else feel like culture fit is just code for you’re not one of us? I’ve been told I was a great candidate, but not quite the right vibe more times than I can count. I’m not showing up to interviews in a hoodie. I’m just not fake-smiling my way through small talk. It’s hard not to take it personally when no one will tell you what you’re actually missing. How do you bounce back from feedback that feels this vague but weirdly personal?

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?

I have a contact who is a hiring mgr at a company I want to work for. He told me he has an open role for me and set me up with 6 interviews over a 2 week period. They all went really well and HR said I’ll most likely be moving forward to a site visit. But now my contact has ghosted me. After I made 3 outreaches he had his aa schedule time for two weeks out. Why am I being iced?
