Does anyone have any advice in regards to building your case as a Sourcing Specialist and how this role is vital on a talent acquisition team? Especially with 90-98 open reqs and at least 15-20 of those are immediate needs and the 3 recruiters on the team do not source their candidates on their own. I know my reasons but I’m curious if anyone has anything to say maybe I haven’t thought of that could be helpful for me to use, thank you!

Having tough time deciding between IB & Consulting. My thought process: I have a "better" background for IB (TAS/valuation) and with tech layoffs, this might push more potential would-be tech applications to pursue consulting (there by increased competition)? Additionally, you can do IB intern and full time consulting but not vice versa. I prefer consulting, but IB seems like the "safer" option? And if consulting does get hit hard, I would hopefully have a full time IB offer via internship.

Let’s talk about wrongful termination. The other day I was fired in the middle of the day without any warning. My colleagues called me because they were confused on why the Talent Manager dismissed me from the chat. I didn’t know what they were referring to. So I called my PM to ask what was happening, and she said that she just got off the phone with the TM and said they were terminating my contract on the spot due to me speaking up about micromanaging. No explanation just kicked out. Advice?
