Greetings Fishes , I had given interview for Python Developer role in Mindtree and my interview went very well. After a week or so I received a mail that you are almost there and a Google link to fill some details. It has been 2 weeks and I have not heard anything from their side and I don't have any HR no because no HR discussion has happened yet. Can anyone tell me how much time it usually takes for next step and all. Thanks in advance
Hi, Consulting Moms! I need advice - I am leaving industry to return to consulting. I have offers from KPMG and Deloitte, and we are looking to start a family ASAP (we have been actively trying and I have a feeling it would be just my luck to start a new job and find out I’m pregnant). Would love your insight around personal experience with hours per week, work-life balance, culture, etc. Offers are same level/role/scope (Change Management / Transformation / Human Capital) and same salary. TY!
Is there anyone here that works in Sales at Salesforce? Just trying to get a feel for the culture there
Anyone in m and a tax at DT - can you share your experience culture teams leadership etc?
How did you guys handle leaving an agency to go to another one? I plan to leave my current spot if I get the offer I’m interviewing for, but I have not given anyone the inclination that I’m looking for other roles. I’ve just started convos to see if it’s possible to get a raise or promotion in the near future, but no answers yet. Just don’t want to burn any bridges or blindside anyone. I’ve been around for about 10 months now
Have any of your associations put out a climate and culture survey to your union members? I'm hearing that there are many districts that have surveyed their members anonymously regarding assessing the climate and culture within their school community. If so, would you please provide me with a list of possible questions that you would deem to be appropriate and effective to gauge any possible issues? Naturally, the questions need to be without bias and completely anonymous. No Google forms.
When you move from priviate acct to public acct and are asked why you move, what is the best answer to pass this interview question?
How do you all navigate a job search while working? I'm looking to move to another job and I'm currently in my first post-undergrad job. Finding it difficult to identify the most efficient steps to switch. Is networking the most important step? What is the most efficient way to get the interview invite?
Considering applying for an entry level business analyst (consulting) position at a competitor Big 4 firm. I just completed my first year in audit, so I’m wondering if it’s still appropriate for me to apply as entry level instead of experienced hire?
Hi KPMG fish. How many interview rounds are there for an associate role with major projects advisory? Over the past two weeks I have done the phone screen, interview with 2 directors, and interview with 2 managers. How many rounds are left and what can I expect in the upcoming interview? KPMG

Has anyone successfully relocated for a job and have some tips? I am currently applying (3 yoe) but having trouble getting interest from recruiters outside my state.
What’s better being at a small consulting firm working with people you like and solid culture but lower pay. Or going to a bigger firm (Accenture, Big Four, etc.) with more competitive higher pay?
Is there such thing as too much ass kissing in a job interview? Or everyone likes for the interviewee to do their research and act like they would really like to work for the company and the creative director they are interviewing with?
Hi Guys, I am interviewing for a cyberark PAM role with 3.5 Years of experience in Cyber Financial Risk Advisory. Can anyone help me with hike suggestion that I should ask for? Is 13L too much? Present is 6Lfixed+around 70k Variable. What is average salary of fishes there with this much experience? Thanks in advance.
Consultant vs specialist track - I’m considering jumping to the specialist track since I enjoy the technical work much more. However, it seems like it’s perceived as a step back. But what are the tangible differences? Lower pay and benefits? I’ve asked my cc but she doesn’t seem to have much to offer. Also, is the culture different? ….I really dislike working with hyper competitive people, most in consulting are great to work with, but there seems to be a solid 30% that are bad humans
Has anyone worked on the cadreon team? Would love to know more about culture and leadership.
Howdy fish, currently interviewing at KPMG for a associate role in major projects advisory. I’ve gone through the phone screening and the interview with 2 directors. Next interview is with 2 SM. What kind of questions can I expect in that interview?
Has anyone tried having a flipped classroom? I read that it reduces the amount of homework/work students have to do outside of class.
I understand we have an honor system with return to office. I have a quite a few coworkers who haven’t taken the vaccine (lots of antivaxxers here) who have made it clear they intend to lie in order to return to office/client site. Is this normal at other firms or is this BAH only?
I have an offer from TCS as a Salesforcee Business Analyst but another product based company has offered more CTC than TCS. I want to negotiate with TCS and want the same salary which a product based company has offered. Will HR consider? Any guidance will help.
First day at a new firm. There are active matters going on. How long should I wait (without coming across as passive) before I reach out to senior associates / partners to ask for work?
Ever heard “omg how are you single, you are fit, handsome and successful”. Gets on my nerves every time. I would like to be in a relationship but dating as a gay man is wack. All about sex, and the times I’ve caught feelings for a guy it’s not been “exciting” for him anymore as the “chase” is over. Apparently being available is a turnoff. And the comment “come on, you can get whom ever you want”..........
Black (Stone vs Rock), which one has better exit ops for technical manager role. What’s the bonus potential?
Working with an (external) headhunter for a role, and just found out they want me to proceed to the second round of interviews. I had told the headhunter after the first round that I was interested in moving forward (although I did express some concerns I had) but after thinking about it, I’ve decided I’m not interested in the role. Does it look bad to go back on my word and drop out of the process now?
So I was in contact with someone who got covid ~2 weeks ago. Haven’t vaxxed yet not bc I’m against it but because it’s not available yet due to shortage from where I’m from. Already got tested and came out negative but my housemates insists on doing another week of quarantine in my room. So 3 weeks in total. Is that even necessary?
How would I go about making the transition from project management to production? Any PMs turned producers mind sharing their insight with a recent grad currently freelancing as a PM? Thanks!
What is the culture and work/life balance at Havas Chicago like? Seeing mixed reviews on Glassdoor.
Hey Bdo, does your current annual salary that shows up on myBdo also shows your bonus amount? Or just the salary increase?
Hey fellow moms! I have a toddler 2.5 yro and getting a lot of questions from family and friends about gifts for her for the holiday season. Any recs on what you loved for your kids around that age?
Was hired into a company at a level that was more junior than my skills (Was out of work due to pandemic for a year). I’ve been at the company 5 months. We’re going through a reorg and my new position will really be leveraging my years of experience more so than other role. Is it appropriate to discuss a raise/adding senior to title? Or should I do the job and then prove myself then talk about raise. I have more experience than the senior members of my team.
Mom is sick in India, unfortunately we are counting days. Can my US born daughter visit her, then can I request for my wife’s H4 visa stamping with a reason of assisting US citizen (child) to travel back? My wife doesn’t have valid visa so she’s unable to come down and see my mom. I’m finding ways to get her a Dropbox appointment.
Have you ever seen one of the nicest, most talented, hardest working people get fired for no good reason. Really breaks my heart about how heartless this industry can be ☹️
How is your salary determined your first year as partner? Is it based on your previous years’ SM salary or on sales numbers? Is it the same in year 2 and beyond?
Just finalized and booked my wife and I to a vacation in Europe for end of the year. Feels amazing to call it our honeymoon after 4 years of marriage ❤️ Delayed gratification and totally worth it.
Besides setting time during after work to study for the CAMS and studying during the weekend - does any one have any recommendations in preparation for the exam? Thanks!
