Strategy& fish - i’m currently recruiting for org strategy. Ive talked to associates (in the healthcare practice) and theyve mentioned that it doesnt matter whether youre in corp strategy, org strategy, etc and that you’re pretty much pooled by industry when it comes to staffing.
Can someone confirm this? Also, what do you expect the restructuring to look like?

Well I actually have CDO, which is like OCD but the letters are in alphabetical order, like they should be
I’m trying to ask others for advice on how they deal with it at work and if they’ve ever needed to take a leave of absence. I hope you don’t act this immature for mental disabilities in real life in your leadership role
OP, it's good that you have reached out here. If this is having such a significant impact on your well being, it is important that you seek professional help on an ongoing basis (not just an initial diagnosis) if you have not already done so. You may also be a candidate for meds, which can be helpful for someone with full-blown OCD.
There is an Anxiety/Depression bowl on FB that you might turn to as a resource. I have to imagine that you are not alone in experiencing this.
Sorry you had to deal with all of these sucks poking fun at your mental illness OP. I fortunately don't suffer from OCD, but I feel for those who do, and hope you take whatever steps necessary for you to take care of yourself. Please remember your health and well-being is what matters most. Best of luck
Wish you all the best, OP. You’re right, I shouldn’t joke these days, you never know what one is going through and how they’ll take it.
Don’t we all
My spacing and lack of a period is annoying me every time I look at it. That’s my OCD. It’s not real - it’s a work OCD for perfect formatting
It’s pretty messed up when I’m really down and trying to find others to help me feel better and you find this the opportunity to have fun
Go to a real doctor. This app is for fun kiddo. Good luck
I have OCD with a diagnosis. I doubt take meds as I see it as more of a nuisance for me and others. My team is use to my quirks, and they just deal with it. But I would recommend you see a doctor if it is becoming a 3+ hour a day issue and interfering with your work. Mine is more movement and tapping, a long with the whole germ thing (I should own stock in hand sanitizer) ever see As Good As it Gets? That show is my life to a T. Good luck and seek medical there are meds to help, but beware of side effects
OP, I have diagnosed OCD. It was debilitating my whole life but later in life I went to a better doctor who specialized in anxiety disorders and she asked me why in the world I’m still eating gluten if I have diagnosed OCD. Needless to say I went off of gluten, and I’m almost 100% fine. I used to be unable to walk on colorful tiles floors or run on sidewalks and I used to check if my HOTEL door was locked (I know, I know). Now sometimes I’ll have unusual anxiety if I accidentally eat something not gluten free, but that’s the extent of it.
At very least, get food sensitivity testing. That’s a very very common cause of OCD. Also try to go strictly gluten free for 6 months and see if anything changes. It sounds stressful, but it’s really not bad and there are gluten free replacements for most things.
No, real OCD as in you are clinically diagnosed and it affects 3+ hours of every day
Yes, like - correcting the extra space before a period etc., jk
Yep
Yes . I do
P2 and SM1 what type of OCD do you have? I struggle thinking I’m the only one suffering a mental battle everyday to try to finish my work and people noticing
Had a friend dealing with PTSD as a consultant. After leaving D for another firm, it got a LOT worse, and leadership there gave him zero support. The VA told him he needed to take a year off, then leave consulting. It sucks bad.
Oh I was making sure you had no grammatical errors...no I totally don’t have that.
