I had very positive feedback on my interviews for a S&O role but the team hired someone internally. If I interview again for a differenr role, would I have to do all the interviews again or can I use some of the scores from previous interviews. I understand doing RRK again makes sense but what about GCA, googlyness or leadership . Thank you

Just here to say I’m so thankful we have this safe space. People who aren’t diagnosed generally have misconceptions about ADHD and its symptoms, and I’m so grateful we have this bowl to seek help, learn from one another, and sometimes just vent! Based in the Bay Area and have 3.5 yr exp in IT Audit mostly SOX with a little SOC exp (ex big 4, couple of regionals) and have been applying to industry (mostly tech companies) since May. made it to final interviews only to find out hiring freezes were in effect or they went with a LCOL candidate.Would like to exit to a GRC role or a mixed role thats 50% sox, 50% varied projects, or a SOX role if the team culture is good. No luck getting in non sox work at current firm.

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers?
