EY’s program assists with the costs for fertility treatments like IVF and egg and sperm freezing, as well as surrogacy, foster care, and adoption. Employees have access to reimbursements for treatments and costs up to $50,000
This is for the medical benefits (or adoption/surrogacy), not the medication benefit. I believe the medication benefit is still $10K...
Pro
Curious, is this a common benefit at most firms?
Yes but varies on what the benefits actually cover
$25k here
CohnReznick has Progyny which does “smart cycles” and covers up to 5 rounds of various treatments, very little out of pocket!
RSM
BDO covers 25k IVF/ Adoption (either or)
EY for sure. Wishing you all the best in your journey.
Thank you so much
It’s funny, EY takes its lumps (deservedly so), but the benefits, especially for new/expanding families are really best in class. We don’t advertise that enough.
Current employer is none. When we did the fertility journey, I worked for MetLife. We had $25,000 to spend on procedures and $15,000 towards medication. They also give you $10,000 once you have or adopt a baby.
