Hi fishes, I got 5+ years of work ex of which 2 years was in domain non IT job. While joining Accenture I was offered level 11 (As SAP functional CONSULTANT) while I believe I should be at level 10. What can I do? Is it that just your IT work ex they consider? Suggest things I could do. Completed 8 months in Accenture now as SAP Functional consultant.

When does a person get promotion from manager to senior manager in cognizant?

Which practice group (m&a, capital markets, or funds) would be best for someone who genuinely doesn’t care about this job/law but wants to stay in biglaw (NYC) as long as possible? Some folks say m&a is more “intellectually stimulating” and I wonder, for that reason, perhaps capital markets might suit me? (I’d rather take mind numbing repetitive tasks over more “challenging” deals)

I have been hired under one role but have been managing projects in design UX/UI, content management (auditing and process development), and governance (currently working on a bot project). I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. In an environment where we’re barely surviving, fielding resignations left and right, I thought this might be a good place to vent, source ideas, discuss common trends etc. Our field is very unique and hard to find comps in terms of salary, daily duties, expectations so I’m hoping we can have an open dialogue on this!

Fridays are the worst because it sure feels like that’s when the resignations come in. It’s hard not to feel stressed about it. 🤦🏼‍♀️
