Does anyone here actually feel passionate about what they do? I don't at all and it's really wearing down on me, to keep doing the same thing day in and day out when it doesn't really spark anything in me.

Nope. Love my paycheck and love my team.
I'm not going to lie, I haven't felt passion in my career for a really long time and I am right there with you OP. Its wearing me down as well because it just wears on a persons soul. Especially when you have been doing this for so long that you don't even know what else you could do.
I feel the same. I have the general skills but always on the lookout on what to do next. I’ve been asking myself what else can I do for a good while..
Yes!
It’s a big part of my job to help others feel that way too :)
If you’d like, feel free to message me/connect on LI. We can have a quick chat, I´ll be happy to hear you out and offer some new ideas.
I was recently laid off but my last couple of jobs I did feel passionate because the largest mission aligned with my core beliefs. Day-to-day work things and office politics can sort of erode that feeling but generally I like what I do.
The other side of the coin is finding value in what you're good at/what you work toward. If you're a reader, I'd recommend "So Good They Can't Ignore You" by Cal Newport. It presents an argument against and alternatives to the "do what you're passionate about" adage.
*larger mission
I love my field of work. I thrived in it for 20 years. However, I find that management are now, looking for “Young and Beautiful “ rather than experience. My husband is disabled and in a wheelchair chair and can’t work, so I am it. I was recently “Released“ from my job. When I was hired, I was lied to about the property I was taking over to manage. It was on the Market to sell. I ask this question. I was told it was bad, delinquency 69,000 on the 28th of the month! WOW, some buildings had rats, 20 year old appliances, water damage, and on and on. The best part in the back of the property, you could buy any type of “DRUGS” you wanted. I took the job, thinking I am up for the challenge, clean out, collect, fix, and in 1 1/2 years. I could Cadillac in to 8 more years and possibly retire.
I evicted 34 units in 2 months, did door to door collections, faced the “dealers” new maintenance crew, marketed and by July of this year, delinquent 4,000, still to high, all dealers were gone, occupancy in the low 80’s (from 71) people were renewing, got creative with the old appliances, etc! Things were great! Aug good! 😁 very happy residents! Sept TERMINATED, why??? They brought back the manager that put it in this shape, why?
Here I am over 55 and no one will hire me. I get interviews, very nice resume they say. I lose by a 20 something no experience!
Thanks for letting me rant to anyone listening, any advice helpful! I NEED A JOB!
