Nope. I concluded it was a ripoff.

I used Townsquare for SEO. They let me haggle the price, delivered a lot of what I needed, worked with me when the pandemic crippled client’s making regular payments, and have continued keeping my monthly payments below market.

I am also using Google ads and I’m not seeing much return on my investment. I’ve been using it for about 4 or 5 months.

We run google ads and feel it is helpful for our family law practice. However, I do feel like we were getting more traction with it the beginning of last year and in 2022.

From a financial standpoint in this market, which would be a better approach in Austin -

1. Buy a ~8-850k house that meets most of our ideal criteria (size, schools, interiors etc) to stay long term

2. Buy a ~5-550k house that’s not ideal with the plan of moving into an ideal home in 4-5 years when kid is ready for school.

Plaintiff side question - comp is base plus % of fees. Firm has non equity split % with associate working on case. This normal for a non equity partner? Normal associate comp is full % when working with an equity partner.
