Does D still penalize you for taking PTO? Did they change it recently? What is the utilization target for D Ms? How many days can you carry over to next year?

Not sure what you mean by “penalize” (other than the utilization aspect). Deloitte started to give utilization for 3 weeks of PTO. Not sure of M-specific utilization target, and also depends on the level for how many weeks you can carry over to the next year. M and above you can carry I think 5 or 6 weeks (whatever you earned in that year) to the following year. SC and below, you can only carry over 3 to the new year.

At any level above Senior, how do u manage the relationship between utilization and realization, which is an inverse relationship. Seems to be either blow the budget (and write it off), or eat a lot of time.

It's off school property and there will be a bar (thank god), for context.

Hi lady fish,

I’ve been with Accenture for 10 years and am about to take maternal leave. I got an interesting conversation with HR yesterday about leaving Accenture after maternal leave, and the kicker is to join the client. I got a couple of questions for you guys:

One...did anyone leave Accenture right after maternal leave? If so, what happened? Did they have to pay back anything?

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

Has anybody had to prepare them and what was the scenario?

Thanks everyone!

I switched 20 days back to Optum. I have 7 years of experience working as a full stack Engineer, who is passionate working on both front end and back end on latest technologies. I don't like working here at all, but I am not sure whether moving out again in a month will give bad Impression on my resume. Hence please give me advice on this situation
