Sounds like D have bagged themselves a winner with their new hire here
No promises. I have no idea what kind of test could be done, or how long something stays in your system.
Odds are probably in your favor (been here almost 3 years, never had a client who needed it).... but if you haven’t done anything yet, don’t.
If you have... nothing you can do about it now so not much point worrying. It’ll either be an issue or it won’t
What do the acronyms stand for?
They are clients op. Clients that require consultants to test for system access and badge access. Google the acronym with the word, bank.
Ok so if i dont get on a project for a few weeks after I start, i should be good ?
If you're in commercial, you can safely ignore most clients onboarding assistant's requests for drug testing or background checks. Top tier clients you will be rolled off or seriously dinged for doing that, though.
GS, RBC require it. Good luck
DB as well. Good luck
Wasn’t even drug tested for DOD projects in GPS. It is up to the project. Most do not but some do occasionally
What kind of drugs are you testing?
If you work for a government contract you probably will be Deloitte themselves does not. You might be required to for the client you’ll be working for but big chance that you won’t. Lots of judgement in this thread for no reason. You’ll be fine OP
Some clients do
Really just depends on the project. If you’re in GPS, good luck
They should
I mean, if you fail a drug test with a client you know your career in advisory is pretty much over, right? Just don't use drugs again. It's not worth it.
