Does Marriott ever upgrade your status level from Platinum to Platinum Elite? Missed it by 3 nights at 72 :(. Part of me is happy because less time on road but at least 20 nights in nonMarriott hotels

Sweet so even I missed it, since I had over 160+ nights the last 3 years they automatically gave it to me. That works out.

Sorry - I mean gold vs Platinum

@D3 - when I asked, she sounded like she could do something but since I got it - we didn't get to that. Worth calling and trying.

Marriott Statuses are: Silver, Gold, Platinum. And above them all is the non-advertised tier: Platinum Premier.

like

I didn't even know that was a thing. What extras do u get over platinum?

Better upgrades and 25% more points per stay. I just want the more points

Doesn't make sense. Platinum is Platinum Elite.

Too used to AA shit

In the past I think they have allowed you to buy back status for 40k points

Just call and ask

Damn 40k points is not too bad hmmmmmmmm but that's the extra 25% I'll earn back so it's kind of a wash

On the phone lol

There actually is a level above Platinum Elite..Premiere Platinum Elite. I believe it's the top 1-3% of people with most nights.

Pls report back, OP. I came in at 74 nights.

Nice!

Marriott is super generous. I got auto Platinum from a link at D. Didn't stay any nights and still had it the next year, proceeded to stay 25 nights at Ritz Carltons and they let me keep it still. Then got it though SPG match.

I'm a light sleeper who cares too much about the people around me, but I've got a flight to London next Friday from 7pm NYC time to 7am UK time, and I'd really like to master sleeping on a plane just this once and not be in jet lag hell for the entire day after I land. I'll be in premium economy in an aisle seat. I usually take melatonin before bed and sleep on my side. Does anyone have suggestions for an OTC sleeping pill or pillow that actually works, or other advice for sleeping on a plane?

Hi guys, Could you please help me out on what to be filled here, I've 3 years of experience and I don't think I would be falling under gratuity that will be '0'. But I'm not sure of what to be filled on "Leave Encashment Exemption". I've 170 hours of leave balance. My HRBP dose not respond at all I've been trying to contact her from weeks and there's no response to any of mails nor pings on teams. I really appreciate you for helping me fill this?
