Does your company implement a strict dress code for hair length, facial hair, or dress? My company is making a shift to more restricting and specific dress code policies. It feels like this is going to backfire big time.

This might be too ambiguous to answer, but I want to get better at taking iniative, but I don't know how. I can be pretty shy in work settings. I do things without being told, but I want to go beyond that like start projects etc. Provide more value.

2012 Sr Associate. Left my firm in February after being recruited by a partner I used to work for, and it turns out I’m not very happy. I just graduated from my bachelors and I have received an offer for 3k per month (incl bonus) from Accenture in tech consulting (level 11), which was my top choice. However, I am not very satisfied with the pay so I wanted to ask:

I am an experienced hire. My case might just take you by surprise. I joined EY GDS 10 months back at 40% hike (leaving PwC) and now Deloitte (DIJV) is offering me 2 level up designation at Manager level with another 40% hike.
