I have 2 yoe in .net have 4.8 ctc.
Recently gave interview for TCS, after some days one of the recruiters from tcs called me and said that since i had done only BSC-IT they will deduct 6 mnth of expirence out of the total experience so finally i will left with 1.5 yoe, so for that they were offering 5.5 lpa since.

Is ther any rule one who has odne BSC they will not consider 6 mnth experince, thats the reason they have given to me.

I applied for a remote job with Humana one month ago. My application status currently says “interview in progress” but I haven’t had an actual interview yet. Should I expect to receive an interview soon? Also, does anyone have experience working with humana remotely?

I gave my virtual interview on 3rd August and I asked the HR about the status. He said he'll update me but haven't heard anything from him even after follow up every week.

Doing a remote interview tomorrow for an in-house position that I really want. Invite says "[company] is a startup, so a full suit is not necessary! Business casual attire is recommended." Like I said, I really want this job, and the idea of not wearing a suit is just weird to me

Should I still wear the suit or would it be counter productive?

Hey everyone! In the midst of all the craziness, I’m having a rating agency interview that will last for 2 hours. Any suggestions on preparation?

I just want to say to the recruiters at this company, who insinuate that a potential candidate has the opportunity to become hire, only to call them by phone and say “we didn’t “ pick you is unprofessional and tasteless. Remember you were once a candidate and one day may have to be a candidate again. Getting somewhat of an understanding how the culture is from the interview, I am glad that first I have a job and that I didn’t get picked.

Obviously no one knows the future, but where do you typically place your limit buys? Do you find historical support levels somewhere? Or just place random ones every couple increments below the current level (e.g. BTC buys at 45k, 42k, etc).

Need some unfiltered feedback here. Only female MD / partner at my firm (male dominated, good ole boy industry to boot). People who are in a position to make hiring decisions (as in you’re the one saying let’s hire person X), how often do you select someone based on potential vs actually qualified? What’s that story? From my experience and of what I’ve seen, if you don’t have certain X amount of years, you’re pretty much out of the running, no matter how great potentially you could be - even if you already have the experience, just not that much years.
