Hi fishes,
I’m a fresher and have recently completed my internship as an Operations manager at Amazon. I am currently looking for FT opportunities. I came across and opening at Maersk for the role of Business Analyst. Could anyone refer me for the role or maybe point me to a suitable opportunity?
thanks!
Maersk

Snapshots aren't the tool to get feedback, someone should have told you that. You're supposed to be proactive in asking for feedback, with snapshots being a formality; that's the norm in consulting. Can't tell if you did that based off your post but makes a huge diff to your story
Do a basic google search and everyone will tell you the keys to a successful internship are asking for genuine feedback often from everyone on your team, and showing strong progress towards the feedback. Snapshot is a joke, you want time to react and adapt to feedback before someone logs a formal appraisal for you... that being said S& ignores snapshot results, not sure what PwC does with them (hopefully burn them all).
P10 my friend is interning at PwC in NYC and he easily works over 60 hours a week and for sure makes overtime lol but he loves it
This seems as much a problem with the OP as with PwC.
PwC 19... 🤦🏻♂️ That was the whole point of P7's comment. As a millennial, he/she agrees with P14. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
What's even the point of trying to talk OP into liking PWC anyway? Y'all don't need him
Lmao it's terribly funny that you think you'd be brought into any decision making process 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is why you guys are short-sighted. You don't think that after 10-15 years in the industry, he's going to bring any of you douche bags in to do any work on his BU? It's called not burning bridges. I personally know people in industry who hate pwc because of how they left the firm. Again, the responses to this thread really accentuates the differences between big 4 and MBBD
OP-at least you're an intern though, this is what internships are for. Try something out and if it's not for you, at least you're not working there FT!!

D4 OP is a year younger than me and still a dick. OP congrats on the 5 internships, I'd call back your old bosses/teams for a job then
@bcg1 And this is why if OP goes to a F500 firm he/she will probably never bring pwc or strategy& in for consulting work. Notice how at MBB, this tradition of blaming the intern never happens? And that's why we're big 4. Getting all triggered because @op said something mean about our firms. Most of you never stopped to think maybe the firm could have been at fault too. But even if the firm wasn't at fault, can't you still show some empathy and grace and not shit on @op? Consulting in the big4 really brings out the worst in people.
"I found this awesome kid fresh out of college. I'm totally going to put him in charge of the contractor acquisition process."
-no CIO, ever
We are notorious for completely fluffing our interns. Almost the point where its comical how rosy their view of consulting is before they get the cold water treatment of being an associate. I'd be amazed if someone worthwhile received an offer and was still this salty.
Either way, best of luck with future endeavors.
McKinsey vests after only 1 day of service, grass is greener 😬
And yes also OP are you sure your snapshot was actually shitty or are you just getting 3s? Totally normal for an intern
I know lots of people that had bad internships in MBA. One guy in particular had a really bad experience at BCG. Talking with him he said it was a bad fit from a culture and communication perspective. He interviewed and received an offer from Bain during 2 year on campus recruiting and was much happier. The point is that it sounds like it was a bad fit. No worries, you learned something and know where to look next.
If I was an intern, I'd fucking love to work weekends and holidays. Give me that overtime baby!!
Y'all need to chill. OP is just a kid.
Kpmg 1- how am I a dick? 😂
Ugh...I hate Disneyland. That would be a reason enough not to take the offer
Lol that a first year client would have any influence on buying decisions
As you say, S&. I pay close attention to that stuff too, so rest assured I read the fine print and calculated the additional ~3K i was getting screwed on vs ACN, for example (6% matched, immediate vesting, after a year of service)
