Hello everyone! I'm looking for an entry level Product Manager role at a Tech company. Currently I'm working at Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee Intern and will be graduating next month with a major in Computer Science. If there's any opening for Associate Product Manager in your org., please let me know!
I've been a team lead for multiple national level hackathons, built UX Designs, wrote PRDs, and learning more about PM.

Strategy& fish - i’m currently recruiting for org strategy. Ive talked to associates (in the healthcare practice) and theyve mentioned that it doesnt matter whether youre in corp strategy, org strategy, etc and that you’re pretty much pooled by industry when it comes to staffing.
Can someone confirm this? Also, what do you expect the restructuring to look like?

Snapshots aren't the tool to get feedback, someone should have told you that. You're supposed to be proactive in asking for feedback, with snapshots being a formality; that's the norm in consulting. Can't tell if you did that based off your post but makes a huge diff to your story
Do a basic google search and everyone will tell you the keys to a successful internship are asking for genuine feedback often from everyone on your team, and showing strong progress towards the feedback. Snapshot is a joke, you want time to react and adapt to feedback before someone logs a formal appraisal for you... that being said S& ignores snapshot results, not sure what PwC does with them (hopefully burn them all).
OP don't leave us hanging.. do divulge
Highly doubt if this is even legit. Clear instructions were given not to have interns work more than 8 hours a day or any overtime as they won't be eligible for it. From what i have been hearing and seeing in my local office, the interns seem to be having an awesome fun time. Anyways guess OP got into the wrong team or did something significantly wrong!
It's not for everyone OP. The world needs bartenders.
Sounds like you might not even get an offer to go to Disney lol. Oh wells. It's not for everyone.
No idea about OP's situation, but for any other interns reading and getting scared, it's REALLY hard not to get an offer and you have to pretty much actively screw something up. OP, maybe were you one of the geniuses in the LA office who tried to use a fake ID to drink underage at a firm happy hour?
PwC10 I'm a current advisory intern and have worked in excess of 60 hours per week more times than I haven't this summer. Not complaining though as it hourly and make 1.5x. My engagement needs the extra set of hands so maybe it's approved.
We should be worried about burning bridges with an intern? Bruh it's the other way around @S3
Part of being a consultant is eating it. When the client is crazy everyone suffers, from the partner down to the associate. Unless your weekend work was absolutely unnecessarily created by your manager (doubtful, as everyone's too busy to make up work for an intern) it just sounds like you had the misfortune of being on a crazy client. When that happens, your job is to do everything really well so that you take the burden off the rest of the team. I had an intern this summer that most likely had a horrible experience because we couldn't trust him with more advanced work. He was terrible on delivering basic things without typos and errors and it was clear that he thought he deserved better. Maybe so, but you have to earn the team's trust.
Deloitte and ACN got 10k signing and 12k respectively, mind you. Ugh.
PwC is actually pretty competitive with starting salaries these days, maybe within $5k. They fuck you on other benefits though, like the vesting period for your 401k.
BCG1, you must've gotten the offer two years ago. Literally the year after, PwC started first years at $75k in the same cities that used to be $65k and had a $10k signing bonus also. Grats on BCG but it's hard to judge a whole firm on a handful of vocal experiences
Hey intern - hold my beer
Technically you only go on the Disney trip if you're offered a position. And that's an obvious project issue, not PwC. My intern loved her summer 🙃 she only worked 8 hrs a day and got to do our fun team activities with us.
Did you take an honest look in the mirror before posting this, OP?
Pour me a drink plebe
@S3 The OP didn't land an offer we give 95% of our interns, then blamed it on the firm. Anyone that dumb is going to make PLENTY more enemies over the next 10-15 years and we'll barely be a blip on the radar.
Sorry to hear that they convinced you to use snapshot for primary feedback though, good lesson learned maybe?
@S& I agree I should've asked for feedback but when I'm told that this is how to go about it and asked for them to do it 2 weeks ago with reminders 3x a week it indicated there's not much to fix. I had to have three filled out in a 7 week period so if I wasn't hitting their expectations I don't think it's on me
Fuck off
OP what about your snapshot was shitty? Did you get an "At Level" in everything? If so, that's not shitty, that's expected for an intern.
That said I do agree that feedback should have been given to you in person - whether good, bad or indifferent.
I would, even now, seek out your manager and get some one on one feedback from him/her.
Lastly, not sure how PwC works but at S&, we ignore the snapshots. Instead we focus on intellectual capacity, attitude and coach ability for undergrad interns.
