Just recieved a offer from Western Alliance Bank for a Senior Business Analyst role. Comp 100k but the role would be in office. I currently work remote, have unlimited PTO,and a really healthy work life balance but am being underpaid tremendously. The new role seems like it does not have healthy work life balance and many red flags have already come up. I want to grow my skills and wouldn't mind being in office as I do miss being around people. How do I vet the role before accepting?
@Social Work Hey guys! Attached is a job posting. The job (Social
Worker at Sheppard Pratt school) pays 34-41/hr which is 70-85k a year depending on experience. It’s a full time job. So benefits included (insurance, 401k, paid time off, sick days) And also bc it’s a social work position at a school, you get at least 4 supervision hours a month. This recruiter sent it to me. So if you’re interested please reach out to me or her. https://www.indeed.com/job/licensed-social-workercounselor-33455f2e7d917b37
My experience at Equifax. I was there for less than 6 months. During that time my manager yelled at me in front of everyone twice, I worked every holiday and weekend from October-March. My training was awful and I was put under a microscope. Every little thing I did wrong would be turned into a big deal while I watched others make bigger mistakes. My manager would tell me one thing, while my supervisor would say another (I was a contractor but that line gets crossed daily at Equifax)
How are the big 4 holiday parties down here?
