My doctor had me take a week off because of the chronic stress and borderline panic my situation at work is causing. In many ways, I feel recharged, confident...and more ready than ever to quit. :(

Not sure what is stressing you about your situation, but seeing a psychologist and working with detachment, has really helped me keep perspective. Burnout and panic is unfortunately a really common "side effect" of our profession. There is a definate clash between the typical teacher mentality and the system in which we work. Protect youreself and follow your heart.
