Trying to have faith but my recent cycle netted 16 eggs, 8 fertilized and only 2 made it to day 5 for testing. There were 3 others that just didn’t mature. This is my third cycle and I’ve been pretty positive up until today. It’s especially hard to get this news in the middle of a work day. I think that I have eating disorder. I am always hungry but when I get food I can’t finish it, usually I am done after 2-3 bites and then I am hungry again after an hour. Anyone has similar issues? Have you been to a nutritionist or dietitian? If yes, is it covered by Insurance?

I’m about a month post FET, and after a positive beta I was feeling all of the classic symptoms (like nausea) from like week 5-6. But, this last week the nausea has significantly subsided (though not completely gone). Has this happened to anyone? We have our first ultrasound in a week - so nervous!

I am on a stress leave. Every time I look at emails from work, the less encouraged I am to return. It is so overwhelming! I want to finish out the year, but will definitely not be making it back next year. So many things have changed, and next year there will be all kinds of change and turmoil. I am sad to be leaving on such a low note. I always envisioned retiring at the top of my game, having a party...etc...

Tomorrow they are requiring masks again and I was almost in tears when I found out. We have been mask free (recommended) since June and I feel like we are being muzzled again. I am vaccinated, frustrated, and have been off of antidepressants since March. I don’t even want to go into work tomorrow. Anything is better than being virtual and I am trying to look at the bright side, but moving backward still burns. We have parent-teacher conferences coming up and I am hoping that it’s temporary.

How do you provide mental health support to your students in High School?

Today a student opened up about her depression after a lot of prodding. She’s capable but hasn’t done anything in weeks. She doesn’t want to try any medications. Already talked to mom. Help?

My doctor had me take a week off because of the chronic stress and borderline panic my situation at work is causing.

In many ways, I feel recharged, confident...and more ready than ever to quit. :(

As of late, my work related anxiety has reached new levels and it’s really starting to affect me mentally. I’m part of a great team; I’m trusted and supported, have a great track record, there are no issues, and have been no incidents. Regardless, my professional self perception and confidence is so rattled as of late, it’s almost like a paralysis at times. I realize there are much larger problems right now, but if anyone has any tips or advice to get over this, I am all ears. Thanks all!

I like Sugar Rush, Time to Eat with Nadia Hussein...I’m finding that all I can watch these days are news and cooking shows. Not sure why. I just don’t have the attention span right now to follow a fiction series or movie. Interesting.
