McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company I have my first rounds (2 cases) for a position at the risk practice. Will I be interviewed by consultants in the risk practice? I wonder if I can ask some risk practice specific questions at the end of the interviews. (Didn’t get the names of the interviewers yet so I cannot google)

Yes. Ended up with 7 cannes lions. Best decision I've ever made. Than I got greedy and I left and now I'm miserable.
if Facebook called...
Yes. Thought I had the potential to effect change. Met with a lot of unexpected challenges. Did effect change, not as satisfying as I thought. Should've gone with more money/higher title.
Yes, more money, lower title
Only did it once and regretted it. But to be fair it was more about the opportunity (which wasn’t right fit) than the pay cut. Fortunately I landed something in less than a year and corrected both issues. About to celebrate year 8.
Yeah and I regretted it because they ended up not valuing me.
Yes. I've done it twice. Totally worth it both times. I added great work to my book and essentially had the role of a higher title each time. It's not about title. It's about the projects, your role, and the pedigree of the agency.
Twice. Title and responsibility/impact vary widely from agency to agency.
Also is really good to be the best in your position.
If it's 72, it ain't worth it.
Yes. Took it, worked with super talented peers, learned a ton, got out with a sweet job w/ good pay raise that I wouldn't have gotten without that experience. Money and opportunities follow great work.
Yes. Got great work, won a ton of awards, put my career on a different path. Take a chance. Nothing in this biz is permanent. You could always leave.
Moved sideways to a smaller agency, worked on a campaign in my first year that nabbed a Lion and Effie, promoted to head of department in my second year. Most important of all, I am less stressed and happier here.
