Every time I ask for a promotion, l get told to “keep doing what you're doing”. But if what I'm doing isn't getting me promoted, then why keep doing the same things? I want feedback or a roadmap to the next level. Has anyone gotten real guidance on how to move up, or is this just how it goes?

So I was offered a role in Strategy Consulting in after 2 years in Risk Consulting however, after 2 years I’ve only worked on Internal audit engagements few ad hocs such as updating risk register and the delegation of authority matrix.

Honestly speaking I am doing good and I am up for promotion in October however I am not fully enjoying my time but I fear that the move would not be a good and I can’t hit the ground running which scares me.

Any advice and past experiences in such career shit?

If an upward market correction in salary happens in the upcoming appraisal, can it play negatively for someone who just got promoted in June 2021, considering that they recently received a promotion hike of around 20%?

Does BNP APAC does background verification before sending offer letter or after sending the offer letter?

I have not been asked about the educational certificates yet.

They have only asked the PAN, PASSPORT and Current employer salalry slips and promotion letter.

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover

How does one tell their boss (owner of the company) that you are burnt out? In my organization, most with my role are commission based.
