Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

KPMG is the GOAT 🐐. Don’t listen to the naysayers.
KPMG is definitely full of themselves too. Not sure what made you think that
Nope we here at Pappa D don’t care where you come from. We are desperate for living breathing bodies to funnel work to. So if you have a pulse then you’re adequate.
How can you be full of yourself as an accountant😂😭 I feel like it’s more sibling rivalry

Anybody at any firm who cares about the "rivalry" and prestige of their own firm is somebody who is insecure with themselves and not someone who's opinion or company I'd want to be around.
I'm a CPA at an accounting firm to the world. Only a jackass would judge me on who that firm is.

It's accounting, hard to take that too seriously
I’ve worked at other Big4, there are douche canoes everywhere and they give us all a bad rep. IMO, they are very similar. Apply and see for yourself. Each group is different and it depends on the leadership of that group to determine the vibe. Good luck 😊
Got an offer from EY, KPMG’s organization and culture is better. Pay about the same.
I came to EY from a small firm. Didn’t feel any sort of attitude issues. Felt very welcome here
4th in revenue, 1st in fun
This is accounting, we’re all full of crap.
We’re obviously the best

I mean, it's a "no, no, you're family here" kind of firm, with all the weirdness it implies (although ig culture is v office-dependent). But the local office has a good reputation on my uni campus and could promise me a transfer to advisory from audit after a few years, so signed my post-grad with them. Consider how the firm can benefit you professionally first and only don't apply if the vibes are completely off:)
