Literally just saw this. Managers and above get $150/month for telecom right now, so I'm effectively having my pay cut by $1,080 per year. So annoying.
D1 this is your chance to put in some referrals and make some money
Quit!
Just opt out entirely and be untraceable at all times
People are forgetting phone bills are paid after taxes. The true benefit is x1.25-35% in pretax income. Every FT in my practice has a wi-fi card for engagement teams, so our bills are often $150+ with the data plans. Easily a $1,350 annual hit.
Regretting upgrading to the iPhone 7, what timing.
Nope...
So once you hit 60$ you just turn the phone off for the rest of the period? Sounds awesome
Frankly I feel you were lucky to have them pay for the Plat Amex in the first place. It's only covered at D for SM👆🏻
The worst.
This is total horseshit... I don't have the plat card, but the phone cap is absurd!
Do they give an option to have a phone line directly thru EY? And they pay the entire bill?
They don't give you the option to have a separate work phone as far as I know
@PwC --nope, but I think it used to be an option 4 or 5 years ago.
Huh. This sucks.
So you use your personal phones for all calls??
@McK1 yeah we basically need to use our personal cell phones
So when you are manager, do you use all of the $150 for phone bills?
I mean $150 is more than sufficient..my phone bill is $45 per month
lol I am still paying off 6s and not looking forward to spending $20 more each month
