Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

By the way, the options were layoffs or benefits reduction. I think EY did right by people.
FB has the "groups" page for a reason. We get it, no more Platinum AMEX 🙄
Global Entry is $20 a year. The phone thing I can understand but no platinum Amex and no global entry is really not a big deal, other firms didn't have this.
Yeah, Deloitte never even had pre check/global entry. Can you guys stop complaining already?
You're complaining about $20 a year?
If you travel regularly, deloitte pays for pre check/global entry now
Doesn't matter if Deloitte dies or dies not have it. EY complaining about it is still a bunch of entitled whining
Does Global Entry need to be renew every year? I am still on time to get it done and submit the fee?
^ Can you quote this from somewhere credible like Deloittenet? It's not in the expense policy.
D2 we have it now. Was announced a couple of months ago.
Doesn't Amex Plt only cover the initial fee, not renewals?

I'm skeptical of that @EY1. Say 80% of current FTs are no longer getting asked paid for. Some of that is offset by increased cost from losing benefits (eating in lounges, Airport/in-flight wifi). The savings can't be more than $2m. The phone thing is probably saving a lot more. As someone else said it is probably more due to rejiggering benefits with the enhanced parental leave. Which is great if you're having kids, not so great for single people who like to travel.
Thanks D4. Getting on that ASAP!
Will I get an email about the $20 global entry fee?
