What is your BS in? If it's engineering, likely you won't need an additional advanced degree. If it's biology or chemistry then it might be a good idea. If I were you, I'd go ahead and take the patent bar while simultaneously applying for positions at firms that do more IP.
My BS is in biochemistry. I’m not sure which side I am most interested in (prosecution versus litigation) yet
Although I have a STEM bachelors, I am also considering using my GI Bill to pursue an advanced STEM degree (chem Eng or similar). Is it worth it to do this if I am highly interested in patent practice, or would it be a waste of time?
