First year HR Mgr in IFS.. any idea into realistic raise/bonus at this level? Tier 2 city if that makes a difference. TIA!

I was the 2021 best ADR of all CEU in my company, got a promotion as account executive and in the first 7 month I’ve been between the 3 best sales of the team (12 people). Got back from 2 weeks of holidays and a month of sick leave I’m a bit demotivated by the culture of always been closing, always pushing etc.. I feel like I’m a bit tired. Probably I need a new experience or I don’t like the job anymore.. Anyone been in this situation? Any advice?

I’ve been with my company for 5 years and have never asked for a raise, I’ve accepted annual review we get without question. I’ve now realised I’m getting paid significantly less than the market rate. I’m getting job offers with almost 40% increase. I know my male peers at my company get paid significantly more than me. I love my job and my company but I don’t know how to ask for a raise 🙈 I know I deserve it but don’t know how to ask! Any guidance please ?

I don’t want to be in a leadership position anymore and would love to go back to concepting ideas I want to sell. (That’s what I love most. Always has been.) Does this mean an automatic demotion and salary cut? Or would agencies value the experience and expertise? Would love to hear from leadership POV.

My roommates and I are thinking of breaking our lease due to COVID-19 since we’re all quarantining out of state. I’m currently on OPT and my H1B will kick in in October. Hi! My friend works as a recruiter for a recruiting agency, and he told me the company will let recruiters “pay debt”. So each month that you don’t close any deal, you get paid for your base salary, then you are also on debt. Once you close a deal for example 3 months later, then you have to pay your salary back for those 3 months that you did not close any deal. And also the Inmail fee on LinkedIn will be deducted from the commission too. Is this normal in recruiting agencies?

I am being tapped to translate documents at work. I’ve done spot translation audits, and 1 larger Quality assurance document earlier this year, but was recently contacted about a potential large-scale translation initiative for next year.

Has anyone been compensated for these sorts of projects that would be “out of scope” for their role? How do you go about asking for compensation? Have any of you spun out and created translation service side-gigs?

I have a recruiter showing me a general overview of FTI Consulting saying that compensation would consist of base salary + monthly qualified billables + 10% to 20% annual bonus. Is this similar to A&M (% of billable hours)? I'm currently in TS but am looking for a boost in compensation, more than a public accounting firm can offer. Hello everyone, I'm currently interviewing for the Director, Regulatory Compliance role in a Schedule 1 Canadian bank. I've worked largely in the public sector with FI regulators and rusty with information on possible compensation band for this role. I don't want to short change myself. 10+ years relevant regulatory experience plus a Law, MBA, etc education. I have left with salary negotiation round with HR at kpmg, current package 14.7( 12 fixed + 2.7variable) in current company
If i wl leave now i am loosing 2.7 lakh variable pay of this year + 10-15 % annual hike which i will be getting in this financial end.

I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm. I am 85% sure I’ll take the offer, but wanted to see if anyone could think of acting I may be missing out on by leaving? FYI my inflation increase was larger than my promotion increase and my student loan payments also were stopped since I’m no longer an SA. I think what is holding me back is my guilt for my immediate team but just want to check.

Hi everyone! With an internal promotion to manager I am wondering if the salary raise is negotiable? I know a few managers on the team hired in at 110-120 thousand but have also heard I can expect a 5% raise or less moving up internally, which would put me around 25% below that.
