Candidates with PWD category, if looking for a change.. Accenture has a seperate referral drive as part of diversity campaign. Dm me for referrals and spread across this message. Happy to help.
I just joined another tech company and we are hiring consultants for our digital innovation lab. Ideally someone with 3-4 years of experience: Financial Services, UX, Design Thinking, Digital Strategy
I want to switch role as an AWS developer. But I have just learnt the things on my own in AWS. In interview I am asked questions based on real scenarios on which I am not having any experience. Any suggestions? Even if I do hands on on services like Linux academy or quiklabs, it would not help. (AWS cloud migration experience one can get if worked on a real project). Please help.
Does anyone here hold a non-CFA designation (CFP, CAIA, FRM etc.) and what kind of role/position do you have?
Moving from MBB consulting as a consultant or PL/EM/Manager, what are some good industry exit opportunities (outside of PE) where your compensation won't take a hit?
Looking for exit ops in the Dallas area. I have a background in AWS, healthcare, and working with technical teams. I'm professionally certified for AWS architecture, but Uncle D has had me on more of a PM track. Would greatly appreciate any support, guidance, or recommendations. TIA
Is ZS still giving out interviews for the associate position right now? Or is the recruiting team in holiday mood already?
Hi Fishes, Happy Saturday 😁 Just wanted to know a thing. I am working for a service based company (startup). From here on, should I prepare for BIG4 MBB or a product based company like apple, google. Please can someone give me in depth insight on this. Pros and cons. On basis of money, WLB future opportunities. I am working as a BA. Education BE + MBA. YOE 10. Current package 27 lac. Guide me pls
Work in niche tech consulting, in a part-time mba at T15 school. Rejections from 2/3 MBB already for internships, not feeling too hot about the third. Definitely think I fucked up the coffee chat portion of recruiting. Any tips to keep in mind before I head into F/T recruiting next summer?
I see a lot of Big 4 consultants romanticize strategy work on this forum, but are there any other MBB consultants that don't like strategy? Personally haven't enjoyed the strategy work I've done
Why do the big four keep hiring college students aggressively then fire them after a year for having low utilization. Why not just hire the amount you can actually staff
MBB second year (put of undergrad) salaries?
MBB manager vs FAANG product: pros and cons? I was excited about the perks in consulting but with all of them gone (and likely we’ll never go back to the glamorous lifestyle fully), product roles that I earlier said no to seem lucrative.
Currently at PWC US. Got an offer for MBB India. How do I think about this? Few considerations 1. On H1B 2. Salary ~170K currently (India will be 50L) 2. Don’t have loans 3. Long term goal is to be in Tech 4. Family in India. Currently unmarried (with a long term gf in India who is willing to relocate to US)
Looking for honest opinions: why does everyone seem to hate Deloitte? I’m an experienced hire who joined Deloitte this year. Things have felt pretty normal so far, but I want to be sure my eyes are open. I’ve been told to buckle up once covid/WFH is over the culture will revert back to the way it was. I don’t scare easily and information is power. Thanks in advance!
I want to refer my fiancé for a position in my group (~60 people). They are more than qualified for the position and would be the same level as me. Assuming that we could be staffed on different projects, is there anything else to consider? Is this frowned upon from an integrity or ethical standpoint?
What would be potential benefits to ask for when negotiating a contract for an ACD position?
I recently received two offers: (1) Deloitte (S&O); and Accenture (Technology Consulting). Which would be more aligned to MBB/FAANG?
EY-Parthenon any recent external hire (ideally those coming from MBB) SD base comp data points?
I have 2 offers: 1. PwC US for the Manager position. 2. Infosys for the Senior consultant position. Both offered same base salary (around 150,000 USD) PwC has huge signing bonus. Have to join Infosys as H1 transfer is already done and I already resigned from TCS by the time PwC offer was finalized. Once PwC H1 transfer is done then should I leave Infosys within 2-3 months after joining or should I continue with Infosys and decline PwC offer?
Has anyone in the national firms moved from an SEC focused audit manager role to your standards and professional practice group? What was your experience like in the transition? How are your hours, and compensation? Thanks in advance!
With the new raises, can someone please share the cohort level pay bands for Strategy& at D1/D2 level? And average expected bonus?
Accenture Strategy layoffs? .....👀
Looking for a junior or mid-level AD. Remote work forever. Must be conceptual with great design chops. Small team. Great work/life balance. Nice people. And we produce a ton of work (mostly video so some production experience is a plus). DM me with books. Thanks!
What would you take over an increase in pay? How about better/cheaper health insurance, student loan forgiveness, or a downpayment for a house?
Can I create a practice exam similar to what I’d see the day of the exam on the new Roger website? I’m only seeing up to 36 questions per test now
Been out of consulting for 6 mo. now. Still have dreams replaying all the times people were asked to cancel holiday, women were demeaned, the ethical gray areas, and I didn't speak up. Therapy time?
How is the culture and WLB at PwC DDV team in New York office? If it is really awful, what are the common exit opportunities? Either other firm or industry opportunities. Wanna learn more about this team. Thanks! PwC EY-Parthenon Deloitte McKinsey & Company Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group Alvarez & Marsal
Hi. Would anyone be willing to share the Interview process at Amdocs, Pune? I've an interview coming up and would like to have some heads up. Also, do they provide good salary package?
When can you ask what the salary is during the interview process. I’d need a bump to jump & don’t want to waste anyone’s time. Glassdoor has very wide range.
Saw an article recently how companies are investing in surveillance tools to evaluate the "productivity" of their employees since many transitioned to remote work. There are trackers out there that would screenshot your current desktop view at intervals, how long you've been typing/clicking, etc... it feels incredibly invasive. I think this needs to be listed very clearly in the employee handbook. Has your company been transparent with you about how they are tracking you?
My manager is asking the entire team to work the weekend to hit a Monday deadline. Thinking of asking for Monday and Tuesday off next week in exchange? This seems reasonable to me. Managers would you annoyed with this response or request?
I am just getting into the business and of course you hear the term "niche" client everywhere. I am curious what your niche clients are?
Anyone moved from an partnership track to staff attorney position in BigLaw before? I’m considering it because I don’t even think I can keep up with an Of Counsel level of billables but I don’t want to leave law completely.
