How do you ask for points?
Wanted to share smth I found recently. I felt like it was pretty darn accurate. I’ll provide the link here but there’s a screenshot I took that I feel I can relate to quite heavily. https://pairedlife.com/love/infatuations
I’ve struggled with so many heavy infatuations before and a friend recommended this. Hope it helps anyone else out there who’s gone through this or may be going through this right now.

KPMG is going through an identity crisis in certain business areas. I'd recommend to steer clear unless the role is rather convincing
K2 are you HR or Management ?
If you are a resource you would not be saying that. All the resources know how messed up things are in SAP and some other practices.
I left Deloitte (S&O) as a manager for KPMG about 5 years back. My thoughts are as follows:
KPMG cons:
1. D’s training is significantly better than KPMG’s. This may change with the lake house.
2. As a result of 1 people execute more efficiently on projects.
3. On average the quality of coworkers is higher at D.
4. Benefits aren’t quite as good at kpmg
5. Within strategy the clients aren’t as good at kpmg. That isn’t necessarily a con as it makes it really easy to add value.
KPMG pros:
1. Culture is better and more fun imo. Everything was taken too seriously at Deloitte.
2. Better work life balance at KPMG. I left Deloitte due to incredibly poor wlb. I can’t say where I worked within D without outing myself but it was a very high pressure group.
3. I’ve actually enjoyed the work more at K. It’s a bit like a startup given that it isn’t as organized and I’ve found it easy to do my own thing.
I’ve spent more years at KPMG than Deloitte for what it’s worth and have been less stressed out. No difference in compensation between the two for me but I’ve been a high performer at both. I was 1 rated every year at Deloitte when they still did that and the same at KPMG. That said comp is probably a bit lower on average at kpmg if you aren’t consistently in the top bucket.
What’s the travel policy at KPMG? Currently interviewing for a role which might require international travel post pandemic. Is it business class? What about expense limit for both local and international?
What division/role would you be looking at? Some of our lines of business are good, some are a tire fire of culture
Humap Capital?
You got to be kidding. Everyone here wants to come to Deloitte and you want to come here.
At Deloitte they appreciate you working for endless hours no matter what.
In KPMG they just look for that 1 or 2 things you did not do to give you 0 to minimal raise and bonus.
Workday, Oracle, Service Now, M&A and Strategy, Audit, Tax, Financial Management are one of the best of the best in the Industry.
Overall Technology enablement is in very poor condition and state. It’s not going to improve for next 5 years until leadership is kicked out.
If I mention few thing you will get an idea how bad the things are.
Umm no... Parthenon, Deloitte, and Strategy& are all stronger.
