Sunset and clouds makes flying that much better

Cloud surfing to Vegas.

Loving the inclusion here. But would hope they would follow up with a safety guide to LGBT travel or something given what we can and do experience in travel, even in the US. Thoughts?

Same advice as before the pandemic still apply. Show up early, don’t book the last flight of the day,get TSA Pre+Clear. Other than that just expect a lot of crowds compared to mid-pandemic.
Totally agree with all this. PreCheck has been working just fine. I'd add consider getting lounge access (e.g. the Priority Pass that comes with Chase Sapphire Reserve). Getting stuck is a lot better if you have a lounge to go to/sleep in.
Beware Delta connections in ATL as usual. There seems to be a real B team working these days from gate agents to flight crew. Last week I got stuck in Atlanta overnight due to a laundry list of human errors. The arriving flight sat on the tarmac for 20 minutes while we rerouted gates, then couldn't get the jetway bridge lined up for 20 minutes. After assuring everyone their connections were safe over loudspeaker (I had 10 minutes, yeah right), many missed their connections. That gate agent issued standby tickets and assured everyone they'd get on the next flight. Fast forward three hours and not everyone did. Then, this later flight's crew had manifest confusion and accidentally dropped a CHILD who was already seated on the plane from the manifest. This resulted in one extra person boarding the flight and, after a long and awkward hour, being kicked off. Then there was a mechanical issue that couldn't seem to be fixed for an hour. Then we deboarded to board a working plane but the pilot timed out of his FAA regulated duty time for the day. It was then 2:30am. When someone shouted to ask if hotels would be provided, the Delta gate agent responded that they would be around shortly with blankets and water. So the flight ended up canceled after this 6 hour Seinfeld episode. It seemed like amateur agents, crew, and even mechanics all coming together to create a real chaotic evening.
Every couple weeks
Flew from Atl to the Midwest and back and it was basically like flying pre pandemic. It was great. Like 3 people on the plane were wearing masks. People were nice. The flight got bumped 40 mins and delta sent us a hotel voucher, oddly
I flew with a 2 year old and delta was great about that. Free car seat check and they arrange you to have seats together for free.
There is a reason why I love flying with delta. Thanks for sharing.
