All you’re doing is changing the logo and color palette. That being said your coworkers will most likely be a lot better as D tends to attract toxicity in my experience
+1 on toxicity
Better culture and faster career progress if you're good at EY. I am overall happier at EY, though miss D's easier expense policy and better infrastructure
Remote work depends on team. EY is all about flexibility and has been preaching it since pre-covid. My team is super flexible and doesn’t require anyone to come in unless needed. It’s preferred coming in 2-3 days a week but no one is getting after you if you don’t. I didn’t go in once last week and no one said anything. On the flip side I’ll for sure be going in 3 days this week because we have a team event and team members from out of town will be in office.
I made the switch. Much better at EY - obviously there’s pockets of differences in both places but our culture tends to be a little more forgiving and a little less toxic for the same type of work.
Following to see if anyone can comment on remote work at EY
Debating on this too as my current role over at Accenture is full remote but idk about pay raises this year.
How are bonuses at EY?
I’d say average Deloitte consultant is probably more capable than EY consultant but would also emphasize the toxicity everyone else is mentioning, definitely agree with that across the board.
High performers at EY get treated well, iykyk
I made the move about 8 years back, but can endorse the ‘toxicity’ theme. There are very competent people at EY who get the job done without being an d**k.
