I’m honestly curious why the following happens: someone asks a question about covid restrictions/health issues/ etc and half of the responses are “this shouldn’t even be a question”. Today I saw a post about safe countries to travel to and general covid restrictions and half the responses were judgmental and rude. “No one should be traveling now- idk why you’re even asking this question.” “Asking this question means you’re part of the problem” what is UP w this level of judgment?????

Our district is so lax on the students this year. With tech issues and distance learning days, we’ve gone from accommodating to enabling real quick. No penalties for late work, taking excuses for attendance, lower academic and behavioral standards... We were beginning to make so much progress on transforming our school culture, but this year is erasing that and then some. So, my MS got caught as a subcontractor for one of my vendors and he was doing their work instead of the property's while clocked in I brought it to HR. we did a cease and desist despite my objections...MS ended up putting his two week notice during which he didnt work and spoke ill of me and my remaining staff to residents...today was his last day and with my regionals permission i told him that our vendor was not allowed to use him on our property due to the conflict. Has anyone dealt with a lack of praise from attorneys? I'm not someone who needs to hear "good job" all the time, but we just got a huge deal closed that I worked really hard on and had a lot of overtime. And once it closed, the lead attorney praised the other attorneys, and said nothing about me or my work. I might just be overly sensitive, but it kind of stung. Thoughts?

Any advice on how to tastefully tell your manager that you no longer want to be a charge nurse anymore? For us being in charge is having full assignment 3p-7p & being responsible for assigning pts , communicating w/ supervisor about various issues, making the assignment for next shift, and a mini report about each pt for the next charge. On the weekends, same responsibilities but 7a-7p. We don't get any additional pay for being in charge and I'm sick of the added responsibility and stress of it.

Hello, first post here. Outside sales, merchant services/card processing. I’m primarily a welder but I work 4 10-hour shifts typically then I try sales the last three days. I’ve done it long enough to where I’m confident and comfortable going to new businesses, establishing some rapport with business owners. But it seems like a lot of businesses see this as a waste of time, even adding services and cutting costs. I guess either I’m looking for advice or considering not doing this anymore.
