I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. My mood has been fluctuating so much lately. Some days (yesterday) I wake up feeling invincible and some days (today) want to hide myself the rest of the world and feel like nothing will ever get better. I’m trying to push myself to make plans with other ppl and am really self-conscious about it cuz I don’t want ppl to see me in low spirit.. any ideas on how to fix that?

I know that feedback culture is part and parcel of consulting, and I feel it is contributing to my anxiety and depression. At the same time, i enjoy the problem solving aspects and don’t want to do a career change.

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
