Hello,
I have 10 years experience as Business Analyst, Product Manager and Program manager with progressive promotions in product mnc companies. I have recently got a call from mastercard for L7 role.
I am trying to find of it is the correct role mapping for my experience. The role is for program management. Also any idea of the salary range?Mastercard

how much harder is banking then valuation?
I’ve been with PwC almost for a year now in the valuations group and I don’t see myself doing this long term. 90% I’m helping Audit Teams understand valuations and 10% I’m doing PPAs. I always wanted to go into more a consulting role (ops/strategy role). I also like modeling, but the current modeling I’m doing is more accounting focused rather than finding business value from synergy creation. Ideally I’d like to stick with PwC but I’d switch too. Thoughts where I should apply too?

I know someone who transfered from DSG to TT and didn’t get their pay bump until end of FY. This was a few years ago though.
I get the sense it takes a few years. It could be worth asking someone else in the group who transferred in about their experience.
When I transferred from audit to FDD at a different B4 I did get a raise. It was about 20% (though that also does take into account a promo from S1 to S2). No ability to negotiate but was just happy to be able to get the opportunity. And now actually boomeranging back after leaving last year to industry (though to a different firm this time round). Was way better offer / ability to negotiate this time around (I suspect due to a) the current deal environment, and 2) my prior experience). Hope this is helpful, sorry it’s not specific to tax or to EY.
I transferred and was made aware that my raises would reflect my lower starting salary each year but COVID really threw that off. I didn’t get a bump when I transferred.
Yep but that I would be caught up by Mgr
I explored something with IFS at one point and was the only time the hiring manager brought up in an interview I’d be at the high end of the band and might take a pay cut if I took the role.
If you’ll be making less than your peers they will probably bump you up. If you make more, my guess is they won’t say anything.
Yea I would think it be a bump to the new role. So you’re saying they match your peers and that’s a convo with HR?
