Very different. Generally speaking expect bad data and manual processes at startup. You will be responsible for creating processes. You can find these at F500 but typically at that level you'll start to have EPM and other technology to reduce manual processes. If you want to roll your sleeves up and work with a lot of white space that you can shape, then go startup. If you want something more structured, F500.
Depends on your risk appetite. If you have no dependents do the startup.
Size of the existing team.
Current ERP and processes will be more developed for F500
Who will reviews the reports. At startup may be the C Suite whereas F500 may be multiple layers of reviewers
Huge differences. At the f500, it will be more standardized and less work.
Startup will be rough, especially since this will be new ground for most people. Startups will make you an overall better professional.
I personally don't recommend startups until you are at least 4-5 yoe, just due to not having any structure.
this is insanely different lol
even different between series A startup (where you might be the only person) vs series D where you’re almost ready to IPO
