If you’re good they’ll pay what they have to in order for you to sign. My understanding is there are SVPs making 300+ on the mid/high end.
And IMHO, if you believe this is going down a level for you, then maybe this is not a good fit. AP is a different type of consulting firm, you shouldn’t consider it a step down.
So what type of a firm is it?
Two other things to keep in mind:
1. If you're good, you'll get promoted quickly.
2. Our yoy total comp increase is significant, so even if your year 1 comp at AP is lower, it'll very quickly overtake what your trajectory looks like at B4
This post is fine, but the “even if your year 1comp is lower” qualifier is unnecessary. We’ll give this person a pay raise if we want him. Nobody comes here for a pay cut in EI, let alone someone from a big 4.
Svp total compensation ranges from 240 k to 330 k in general. If it is a lateral move my guess it’d be at a 300 k range.
200k base is kinda common though, but not always
Is that 300k base and bonus? If so, agree that the change makes sense even if it's a push year 1
SVP can hit ~$300k TC but your base will likely go down unless you are brought in as a Director
Is SVP equivalent of a manager at Alix?
Thank you
