FYI: if you're sitting for the CPA exam in April/May you won't get your score until August 18. Apparently with the new format they need time to validate performance.

CH1, I watched a webcast and someone asked the same question. They said its case by case judgement.

like

Are they going to at least extend that 18 month window for people that have tests expiring..August 18..then 2 weeks later the window is done that's bullshit

like

(Kind of joking)

like

That sounds dumb they should extend every test like 3 months or however long that delay is..beginning of April -> August 18..you basically lose a whole window

like

Totally agree! Especially when they suck at getting back to you with answers.

like

Par the course for AICPA incompetence

like

August 18, 2017 is what he meant I believe

like

No extending the window. Now that I'm a CPA I'm pro-adding barriers of entry to the profession. Fuck you guys. Everyone should have to fork over a bunch of cash for a masters degree and everyone should have to take a ridiculous test designed to make you fail.

like

I'm just praying that everyone does poorly so it won't take as much to get a passing score.

@PWC 1 exactly...the test will expire before you even get in contact wth anyone that can help

Yeah I am going ham the next window to pass the rest of the tests I have. I have a test expiring in April and that wait is gonnna kill me

Wait, in the post you said until Aug 18, thought it is 10 weeks after the exam!!

Unless you didn't mean aug 2018

It was August 18,2017.

Fuck my life. My audit expires in July and I won't be able to take REG until busy season is over.

^Exactly that should have them push it back a window at least..you can't figure out your score so technically your test expires before you even get a score...
