For those trying to leave, how do you sneak interviews in?

3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Mind you, I was working FOR FREE as it was a school connected externship. That made me never want to work in the law.

I have cleared interview with Wipro a month ago and after 15 days I received a simple mail from HR saying you are selected.

Since that day, there is no communication from HR team of Wipro . I tired of sending multiple emails and when I tried to call he always declines my call.

Between director of respected technology is reaching me and he wants me to join ASAP and take over the project work.

What should I do now?

What type of case studies are people getting when interviewing for Strategy roles? How about Finance? Are they the same style/depth as consulting case studies? Are the examples from as "Case in Point" or "Hacking the Case" a good representation? Going to start applying in the next month or two and want to brush up on my skills.

Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.

I have a call with a recruiter on Monday. I can get a pretty good referral in to the hiring manager. Do I wait until I get offered the chance to meet the hiring manager to ask for the referral?

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

Question about what to do next. I’ve maxed out everything—401k, HSA, IRA, backdoor Roth 401k. My bills are all paid. I am a recent grad(Finance), and my MBA school is not a named institute like Stanford. I would want to work for a consulting co. who is heavily involved in Finance. Incoming MBA, I have my tuition paid for and rent covered (I will be an RA). So the only thing I need to pay for is food and entertainment. Do you think 20k is enough to last me through the 2 years? I will make a little money interning in the summer, so that would be a safety valve if I blow through the 20k.
