How is ua brands company?
JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Thoughts on PwC oracle cloud practice?
Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

Honestly, nice job. As a senior BCGer looking to exit, I would kill for these choices.
I was very fortunate to be at the right places at the right times. As I had mentioned in another response I had left BCG a couple years back. This is but another fork in the road. Good luck with the exit! 🫡
Google. No brainer
There might be, not sure. Regardless think you should do GDM to get the stamp from a top 3 player in the AI space, can always move back to PE Ops.
Coach
Um what now? What level are you at BCG? What’s your pre- and during-BCG experience to be getting exit offers at $1.3M TC PE Ops and $700-800k TC Google?
Do you have a PhD?
What team in Google S&O? If it’s GBO then I would say no. If it’s bizops or close to deepmind then definitely. Otherwise PE ops but also keep in mind you’ll work 1.5x more hours
Google DeepMind
What’s TC for Google?

Do you value also your quality of life and mental health, also in the longer term, or is it only about compensation?
I’ve priced in a haircut already. The long time duration and illiquidity is a genuine concern tho. But this is the beauty of UMM PE firms. They are less stuck than MFs which have nowhere to exit to, because MFs are looking to deploy capital still and they buy from UMM firms.
If I discount carry to zero I make roughly the same amount as the Google role (stock included)
With equal comp I’d definitely say G. But given the PE offer is 500k higher youd be crazy to turn it down. Just do your research — I’m sure you know this but your success will be measured by tangible EBITDA impact and that’s actually quite difficult to do with AI. You don’t want to enter a situation where your set up to fail
Thanks - sensible take. I’m actually already in PE ops at a similarly sized fund, left BCG 3 years ago as PL. carry at current fund not meaningful yet cause I rose from VP to Principal here. Next role is at MD level, larger scope and responsibilities, and reports to a partner who is the head of PE ops, who reports to the firm’s managing partner. Both cash comp and carry allocation at new firm significantly higher hence the jump, but Google reached out due to my AI background (before and during BCG) and experience deploying it at my current portcos, couldn’t say no to interviewing.
I do feel like I will be more intellectually stimulated at Google DM and also shaping AI development, but not sure if that is worth the delta in comp (which could really buy an earlier retirement / financial freedom to pursue other interests)
