Staffed on a pretty huge deal with different workstreams. Early 20s. Have amassed around 100k in my 401k. I have been contributing pre tax and just recently this year did both pre tax 19,500 and 6k in my Roth IRA as well. Am I doing this correctly? Should I be contributing into the after tax bucket vs. pre tax going forward for next year?
Currently mid twenties, and trying to take financing more seriously and would really appreciate some insight on how to allocate my income into savings! Make about roughly 70k a year (post-tax, no pre-tax contributions). I spent about $3,350 a month (~40k a year on rent, car loan, bills etc), so I have about roughly 30k to save annually. Obviously putting 6k into roth ira, and I need help with insight on how to allocate he remaining 24k between Roth 401k, emergency fund, personal saving, etc.
Any experience applying for an I-539 to switch from an L1 to a tourist visa while still in the US? The embassy in my home country is closed for tourist visas so I’m worried once I leave I won’t be able to visit for years

Please, don’t call us visa holders ‘resident aliens’ anymore. Call us ‘extra-terrestrial residents’, thank you.
My salary is 92,000 paid bi-weekly, and paycheck deductions amount to 31.7%. 6% is 401k and about 1.4% is medical/dental/vision leaving 24.3% tax rate between state (NJ) and federal. Does this sound right or too high? I don’t claim any exemptions on my w4

Interview with an Accenture MD - tie or no tie?
Anybody has to deal with their old parents?? I feel like my parents are more stubborn than ever. They didn’t have a retirement plan. I’m their retirement plan. They are good people but I feel like financially they are not smart. I’m a child of immigrant parents. They don’t speak the language so that’s an added pressure on me to take them to doctors, drive them around. I am in my mid 20s but I feel like I don’t have a life. They are also demanding. How’s that fair. See my comments to read d rest!
I am never offering to share my hotel room with friends again. Kept saying no you're doing it wrong. So embarrassing.
Does anyone work at Prophet and is willing to answer a question about the interview process? Would appreciate it - thank you!
I work at a boutique that is not very well known, I went on sick leave for personal reasons, which they have been very supportive of. And while on it I received an opportunity to back to a big name I worked for before moving to the boutique. I've only been here for about 7 months. Would it look bad if I agreed to take the offer to boomerang? I'm very confused, everyone I know is saying I shouldn't do it.
Help! Just learned that my parents (54 and 56) only have ~100k in their retirement account. Their house is currently worth ~800k with ~450k left to pay on the mortgage. Their income is ~200k combined. They insist that they’ll have enough to retire on with social security and after selling the house. However, I have a hard time believing this since the max monthly social security payout is ~3k per person which doesn’t even get close to the 70-80% replacement ratio. How screwed are they really?

Does anyone know about this company epam? I got an offer as product manager and wanted to know what’s the culture like and is it a good place to be
I feel totally blindsided by the interview I just had. I talked informally with Partner 1 before the interview and was told the position would be in one of the firm’s satellite offices. Then, during an interview with Partner 1 and Partner 2, Partner 2 mentioned that I’d have to move to the state where the firm is headquartered because he believes face-time is really important for training/mentoring. I have no plans to move and really hope this wasn’t all a huge waste of time.
