I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC

Short-game vs. Long-game
Pro
From BA -> associate in London is nearly double
I would say McKinsey but with that kind of money and level difference I would suggest A&M
A&M pays well, but only the bonus is good. If you’re early in your career, sounds like you are, McK might give you a more stable growth and as many others are saying here, the comp will catch up, and you’ll have more exit opps
Pro
Play the long game, go McK. You will have the option to exit to almost any company you like after.
Congrats on the multiple offers! A&M is an excellent firm, and you have two wonderful options. I have not worked at A&M so cannot speak to it from personal experience. However, I can tell you some things I like about McK, and how I think they might impact your decision in this instance:
McK has an extremely fast promotion trajectory. We advance people as soon as they are ready, which means your earning potential rises accordingly quickly
McK is a much larger firm, and leads the industry in several different areas. We do not limit people to projects in their practice area - so if you’re in, say, PE, but want to do some Corp Finance work, or in Ops and want to try Sales and Marketing, the firm will actually help you do that. And because we are large and have a client roster of most of the F500, there are opportunities to work in almost every industry you can imagine. If you’re seeking variety, this may sway you.
Lastly, McK has a strong reputation and broad alumni network. Having McK on your resume can often open doors to your next job (as can having an ex-McK colleague at that company). If you plan to move in after a few years, McK will set you up for a wide array of exit opps.
These are my thoughts, hopefully someone from A&M can provide a similar perspective. You will learn, grow, and enjoy no matter which you choose. Good luck!
What are your long terms objectives? How long do you plan to stay in consulting?
Probably next 3-4 yrs, A&M can take me faster for senior level, does it helps to get a better exit?
My guy/girl - do A&M if you in it for the short-run. Exit options from McKinsey are no longer what they used to be. McKinsey hands down if you’re married to the consulting game.
Which group at A&M? If NACR would go A&M, otherwise, McK.

Yeah… people from the outside always say “oh it’s so dependent” … generally on the inside most of us do extraordinarily well. I haven’t heard of very many people lateral because of comp- I’ll tell you that.
