Seems fair for the average working hours in UK.
Bit**
Seems low to me for a manager but maybe not for your YOE. I'm SC and get 62 total but have 3 years in industry and 2 years consulting so similar experience.
Not big 4, global but only about 300 or so people in London
PwC? This is a bit low but not awful if outside of London
This is PwC mind, KPMG numbers similar. Believe D and EY are higher for M. Some boutiques start M on 75k as comparison
Very low if you’re in London.
£70-£80 k is what I’d expect
So, for the level it seems low (but this will absolutely vary between companies as levels do), but your experience suggests its about right to be honest. But I guess it depends on your skill sets, exposure to different programmes and projects etc. If you are good, it will go up quickly though.
Love the car allowance element. Very tax efficient.
It should be benefit in kind tax: 20%
For context in London, our SC starts at £65k + benefits, bonus is on top of this and around £5k to £10k
I think £68k plus £4k care allowance for only 3 years experience is great personally!
3 yrs industry and 3 yrs consulting they’ve said
Which of the big four is it?
It's not D, they are just below our band mentioned above. I'm assuming it's not PWC either as they had pay rises recently to bring them to D
Think I know which Company. Well, you are 3k above a new manager’s base. You can maybe negotiate 5% more if you can show you have prior manager experience.
