Got fully prepared for a interview, while I waited for more than 15 mins and no one was in the zoom. Sent the email and recruiter was on PTO, the interviewer was design manager and I don't have his contact. Double checked the time and link and it wasn't my mistake. Just no one, except myself. Before I left I sent the msg to the expected interviewer on Linkedin and kindly asked is he is aware of the interview. But anyway, really frustrated with everything prepared while no one shows up...

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.

I had the first round with a consulting firm and it takes them more than a month to arrange the final round and the recruiter is not being responsive. Is that normal?

It becomes very overwhelming as the product that I am working on is in a early phase and I am expected to think about ui as well as ux and also design entire app on my own.There is no user interview or user testing happening as my project manager thinks it can be done after product is launched. Question! I just moved(transferred) to another team of my company and received new title, graphic & creative services. I was a senior graphic designer at the previous team. What do you think about my new title? I know that title is not a big thing but why I feel like my title is downgraded here… Good thing is my jobs here at my current team are what I really wanted to do. This is amazing. I started a full time in-house design job that pays extremely well. I barely have to work at all. This makes me very confused since I kept hearing stories of people working 60+ hr weeks as designers at ad agencies. I am not complaining, but I have this creeping irrational feeling that I’ll get fired for not working even though there’s nothing for me to do. Should i be making up projects or asking for more work?
