Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

yes, they definitely need to hire more LGBT+ folks
because this was clearly written by a straight person 😂
honestly though, (instilling my good faith that this isn’t a self-righteous attempt to hire someone just to gloat about having diversity), it’s really nice to see this. it’s nice to be reminded that we work in an industry where being lgbtq+ isn’t just accepted, it’s welcomed and celebrated. i have friends who work in industries where they still haven’t revealed their sexual identity for fear of job security and treatment by their peers

I was interviewing I believe for this role(?), and the process was interesting. It was a referral from a pretty sr person who was on the act side for yrs, and in the interview it felt like I was mining for emotions. The interview was sweet though, just didn’t offer up much and her responses were SUPER slow before she stopped answering all together. To about a little over a month for 1st round.
Was the lgbtq angle because of a client ask or the sector they’re in?
