I feel insecure to join before clearing the client interview and requested them to keep it prior before releasing the offer. Is this possible. I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? Should I hold out for the offer or is 1+ week a sign that I won’t be selected?

Has the WFH made you more productive or less productive and is it a heavy toll or you can bear for the rest of your life or not.

I know for people with 5+ exp is it good as they can be with family but what about the people like us whom covid hit at the very early stage of the career.
No exposure, no interaction with the team physically and not even much movement from that damn swirling chair.

I am working as a Java developer with about 2.2 YOE . My package according to me is too low of 5.1 LPA with 50K variable pay. Any suggestions how much package I can get at this experience level and how to achieve that. I am currently working on servlets and jsp. I am not so good in java core concepts so not sure for which roles I should apply . Is it wise to change stack and this point of time ? (PS: 3 months of notice period also sucks)
