Had an HR screener call 3 weeks ago for a TAM position at Salesforce prior to the layoffs. Checking in with the recruiter has been radio silence.

It pretty much answers it on its own, but curious if anyone else was in a similar boat and what has happened since.

Beginning to consider going in house (4th, corp) - I really haven’t thought about what I want, partly because I’m not sure what’s out there/attainable. Is it a bad idea to start by applying to a couple positions that interest me and seeing where that gets me? How to get release from an important project?

Has anyone gone from a complex litigation practice like Construction and/or Government Contracts to a more general civil lit practice (PI, family, etc.)? I'm highly debating making the switch as I feel like these massive complex construction cases aren't really getting me enough solid litigation experience. I rarely, if ever, see the inside of a courthouse, and am generally just bored. If anyone has made the switch I'd love to hear your thoughts.
