Selected in a Big4 firm and one MNC shortlisting is going on, hopefully will get selected within 7-8days. The MNC will be offering good package, but Big4 is just giving 20% hike in my salary and waiting for my decision to say yes or no,to proceed further with offer letter. Query :1. If I say yes to the Big4, and when they issue the offer letter, and then I reject, can they blacklist me. 2. Also if accept the offer and say no, in that case can they blacklist me from their firm. I gave an interview in Accenture and the manager wants me to move to Hyderabad, but I'm comfortable with the Kolkata location. I've cleared two rounds and now the Hyd manager is telling me that if I move to Hyd otherwise they will not proceed with my application any further. Can anyone suggest to me what can be done here?

Let them make the first salary offer. If less than 75k, I would politely say:
“The minimum salary I am considering right now is $75k which is consistent with other roles I have been looking at with Citi and Chase. I understand this might take some time to get approved, but given my 4 years of experience and strong qualifications, it seems like a reasonable ask. Please let me know if you are able to accommodate.”
If they come back with a lower amount then you’ll have to decide what to do…..
Good Luck - I’m rooting for you! Be sure to come back and let us know how it works out!
Great advice!!
$75-$80k. They will lowball you, no reason to help them. Also, benchmark what a good salary is for this job. If more than $80k, have your reasons ready why you should make more. If you are happy with $70k, take it once you negotiate for it.
You've given them your range, they've tried to manage your expectations. Fact is you told them you want $75K+, they said they are thinking $65K and knowing the mismatch they still decided to call you back.
If they offer below $75K negotiate upwards and have a list of reasons to back up why you are worth that $75K (and why its market related)
If you gave them your range and they decided to continue, then that means that they have accepted the conditions. Also, they are considering you for a higher position since you have years of experience.

If you work currently just say you’re currently making 75 that’s why it is the minimum you’d accept but you really want 80. I don’t know what you earn now but you are in finance you are not working for a non profit so if they cannot afford you, you gotta move on to a company who can.

WF1 I would just say no. They can take it or leave it.
Sounds like you answered your own question?
Always ask for more!
Don’t sell yourself short. It’s the great resignation. You’ll get 75-80. Be firm, you got this. If not a better opportunity will come up shortly after. Always reach never settle.
Stick to your price.
I had someone want me to lower my value by $15k. I said no. Four months later they hired me AT MY PRICE. They couldn’t find anyone willing to take the job for the lower amount.
Do not take lower than 75k
Why are they giving you capped potential don’t you think your worth more?
You have already negotiated by giving your salary range. The only thing they can do is match your expectation which they did. You can still ask for an increase after 6-12months.
CS is a s(t)inking ship, stick with WF.
I wouldn’t take less than 75k because that’s what you’re worth in your eyes
Hoping for an update from the OP!
With 4yoe your min. Should be $80k
