I work at a service based MNC and resigned recently. I'm getting married within a week and moving with my partner, and won't be able to serve the notice period. My manager says to serve the full notice period or be labelled absconded. I asked the HR whether I will be labelled as absconded if I agree to buyout the shortfall but they're not replying. What to do.

Now I'm in a client location, My manager is a good person but he told me, I should report to Lead.

Lead is a psycho. He shows hell to the team members including me.

Has anyone had a Manager that does not work well with your ADHD? Im going through this right now and the way they communicate doesn’t match what I need. If I ask questions, they huff and puff. I recently took a new role (going on 4 months) and I’m struggling to feel connected. I’m an HR team of 2 and my VP and I get along but I’m missing the team environment. I loved my prior company and team and want to go back. I’m worried if I reach out how this will be received. 😬

I'm lateraling to another firm because frankly I think the management of this one is terrible, but the people (and individual partners) I actually work with are awesome. I've only been here for about 18 months, so I imagine that short time frame will make it extra awkward 😬

Can I still work as a telemarketer even though I have a noticeable accent? People don't say they can't understand me but they seem relieved when they get to talk to somebody else. I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed?
