Licensed in LA, moving to IL, Employment Agreement is with the US sub (DE) of a foreign company (Canada), where both the sub and parent are fully remote companies with 0 physical offices. Two questions: 1) Am I required by IL or DE to apply for a limited in-house license? 2) Has anyone heard of similar situations where the atty got popped for UPL? I’m in tech transactions and would not go to court in this role or represent the company outside of contract negotiations.

I am looking for a part time role for additional income source. I currently work in Category Management team of a Packed Food Company in Mumbai, India.

When I look for the part time roles I only find shady MLM and some delivery jobs. Nothing wrong in delivery jobs, but I am more inclined towards WFH role as me and my wife are pregnant.

Can you guys suggest where can I find reliable part time roles?

Can someone explain how PTO works in house? I have only ever worked at a firm, starting my first in house position end of this month. I’m used to just blocking off time on my calendar if I have an appointment (like the rare occasion I have a dental appointment, well child checkup, etc) and then going. Do I really need to take PTO for these things? I’ll be working remotely 3-4 days a week for reference and I’m talking about days when I’m remote.

My wife is around 3 months pregnant. Doctor has recommended Irospan. And my insurance says they don’t cover it. And it is coming aroun 695$ without insurance, I found good Rx coupon which comes around 200$. Does anyone have better suggestions to check for coupons? And is iron deficiency common during pregnancy? Any valuable suggestions are welcome. Thanks

For couples who are not married yet - Do you guys talk about net worth, income, or anything even finance related? I know my SO earns more given his current industry, but thinks it’s rude to talk about those things. But I’m wondering… isn’t it normal for couples who live together or are married share those info? For example - How am I going to know what to pay for our child’s education in the future etc?

Wife is 35 weeks pregnant and recently tested positive for Covid. Symptoms are mild to moderate. Doctor’s say no impact to baby if symptoms continue to remain under control. Has anyone made the transition from non-profit and small firm practice to federal government, big law, in-house? I’m a special education parent attorney at a small firm and I’ve spent my legal career in the education and juvenile areas of the law working for 2 non-profits before ending up at the firm. Is 7 weeks too early to start thinking I may have made a huge mistake in switching to my current gig? I left the last place because it was overr toxic and terrible W/L balance, for one that seemed to be more “fun” and more realistic hours, only to find that I’ve now been working 12 -14 hours a day and just drowning and feeling like I cannot catch up or catch my breath. Hi! I’m a young professional with less than 2 years experience, started a new job 1.5 months ago. I’m having quite some difficulties on balancing out my response time to tasks. While I act incredibly fast if not immediately with some, I sometimes take 1-2 weeks with couple of hours worthy ones. Sometimes I ignore, procrastinate or simply other more urgent things come up to increase the delay. Also I work with 3 managers in my team which doesn’t help with expectations nor guidance.
