How much of a signing bonus/salary should I expect for capital one senior business analyst role?

Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC. Should I stay it out and wait for TC to align or take the promotion and jump ship bc I will likely get paid more elsewhere given how recruiters/other companies eat up hiring recently promoted ppl from other firms?

My job might be doing layoffs? Does anyone have any leads or referrals for product management?

I joined a new consulting firm and have been here for 6 months. Recently, a SaaS client (1k employees) that hired my old consulting firm reached out to me about a job opening - Lead BA working primarily to implement their benefit admin system for insurance companies. My current TC is 95k. Is it worth making the jump if the offer is north of 110k? Anything I should look out for? The client and coworkers were all nice, but I remember being stressed on the project due to limited resources.

Going into a salary negotiation for an L4 Account Rep position at Amazon in either DC or Austin TX.

I will ask for base : 85k
Sign on bonus: 18,000
RSUs: 12,500
Relocation ? Not sure yet
They do not include commission and instead prefer a more generous base to give equal attention to potential opportunities.

The recruiter let me know the range is to 85,000-135,000 which is high and I’m not sure if what I’m asking for is too low. Please advice how you approach negotiation

I was happy with my work until April when my supervisor asked me to take over the supervisory responsibilities. Out of empathy, I decided to help my supervisor and took responsibility and now I regret for that. I begged to my managers for delegating the tasks but their tone changed. I have been an adjuster for almost 5 years, although I have loved almost all of my time adjusting and find it fun, in a sense, I am so ready to take my skills into underwriting. Does anyone have any tips for transitioning from adjusting to underwriting? I know this will sound cliche but I find myself to be very passionate about insurance and I do well when interviewed, but it is difficult to get a response for underwriting applications because they all “require” underwriting experience.

My brother studies law at a top 10 law school and wants to work in government or for a non-profit where stresses are lower and he gets to feel more ownership to and meaning in his work, and he has heard all my complaints 😂
